Dear Sir,
20/25 HP. Rolls-Royce Chassis No. GLR-50.
-------------------------------------------

Your reference: B/EW.

We thank you for your letter dated the 11th inst., from which we understand that you will be in a position to spare your car for three to four weeks as from the end of the present month, and we gather that you would like us to have the car here for at least some part of that period, for further attention to be given in respect of a noise on the over-run at approximately 50 m.p.h.

We need scarcely say that we shall be pleased to have the car here for further investigation work, and if you will kindly arrange to send the car to us at the end of the present month, we will deal with the job accordingly.

As regards the question of decarbonisation of the engine, we would say that as far as the mileage is concerned it probably should not be necessary to carry out the decarbonisation job at the present time. We shall be in a better position, however, to judge of this after we have tested the engine, and if you will kindly leave the matter with us we will settle the question of decarbonisation after testing the engine. We understand that if we find it advisable to decarbonise, we have your instructions to do so.

Perhaps you will kindly confirm this when you advise us later of the definite date on which you will send the car to our Works.

Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}
