SUMMER HOLIDAYS.

Further to my Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}3/M4/5/26; one of the chief points brought forward in the request for a fortnight's holiday, was that it is difficult to break into a week for lodgings etc., and to meet this I wish to allow everybody to take their holidays from Saturday to Saturday.

I also, however, consider it in the best interests of the Company that the holidays should be taken as far as ever possible at the same time as the Works'holiday, and to this end I attach blue print showing suggested holidays, split up into two sections of a fortnight each. This, in my opinion, appears to be the best solution, but before definitely deciding I shall be glad to have your views, as it affects your staff.

I send copies of this to D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} and My. in order that we may be uniform in whatever arrangements are made.

This matter is somewhat urgent, as our staff are now anxious to make arrangements for their holidays.
