D/BP. c. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. EHH/EHSn. c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} +219 Sft{Mr Swift}/JMW.14/MW.18.4.35. Re. High Compression Cylinder Heads on Bentley Chassis. With reference to memo. D/BP8/OG.13.4.35. and BY/Cgh{W Clough}10/G.15.4.35. in regard to the High Compression Cylinder Heads for Chassis B.131-DK. B.54-EF. and B.38-EF. In connection with this job we received instructions from the D.O. as per memo. BY/C85/EH.17.4.35, and it will mean that a new pattern has to be made for the Cylinder Head which will take 5/6 weeks to produce. Therefore, our promise for the high compression heads complete for the three chassis in question will be 10/12 weeks from this date. We asked D/BP. yesterday to take up with London as to the quantity we should produce of these parts and we await this information. Sft{Mr Swift}/JMW. | ||
