FILES. X141 30.1.33. PEREGRINE SERVO. Attached herewith is a report on the Peregrine servo, which shows that the majority of our troubles have been due to the fact that the RAD.13 material readily absorbs oil. Once it has become impregnated with any such substance, it requires considerable heating to rectify the trouble. For some reason the Peregrine servo appears to be more sensitive in this matter than either the 40/50 or 25 HP. XXXXXX It will be seen from the results that we have not really substantiated our previous theories on deflection in the mounting, ridge pieces, and shafts.
