Inreply to your query BY7/N21629., we have no instructions to do any design work on R's suggestion for turning on extra oil when starting the engine in R2/M12629., and we believe the intention is that the Exp. Dept. should try the effect of this before any design work is undertaken

We have sent you modifications to both the 20HP. and SS.{S. Smith} starter carburetters for limiting the strength of the adjustment to winter requirements.

The only remaining point is whether the starter carburetter in the case of the larger car should be moved to a position on the induction pipe uptake so that excess fuel would be prevented from draining into the engine.

We should like the opinion of the Exp. Dept. on this point.

Is the 20HP. better by comparison?
