Re 24-RC{R. Childs} - Mr. Stanley Johnson.
Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}9/W15.11.26.

We presume you have already answered the last paragraph of Mr. Stanley Johnson's letter.

BJ. thinks that Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} should consider how best to overcome this customer's complaints in the most satisfactory way, especially as this may occur in many cars in the future; and therefore it requires careful consideration.

As regards the steering, we presume you will be putting in the new worm, if this is your recommendation.

With regard to the tank, we would like your consideration of this point, as of course, it is a very expensive matter to change the tank. Is there no other means of increasing the air vent which would enable petrol to go in at a reasonably fast rate?

With reference to the rubber connections between the engine and the Radiator, what are your recommendations in regard to this? SO

We presume that you have told Mr. Stanley Johnson how long you will require the car to carry out the decarbonising, as asked for in his last paragraph.

Mr. Stanley is quite a good customer and we ought to get hold of his car as quickly as possible in order to overcome the steering complaint.

C.
