ENGINE Rebuilt B.1V.

1. 10.A.6. type clutch with extra bearing area to lugs, moulded facings and X. cushion plate with .045 cushioning - expected in about a week's time.

2. Deturbulated cylinder head. Delco governor to suit.

3. Increased capacity oil pump with Helical gears with damped ball relief valve. Letter to be shortly issued (drawing)

4. RR.56. big end bearing and shims.
Main bearings will be instructed for shortly. Crankcase and bearing cap bores must be perfectly round and not distorted.

5. Strengthened exhaust valves KE.965 (EB.2970)

6. Extra hole in each crank journal opposite to existing.

7. Increased inertia damper wheel on B.22. which was modified to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}131 to be further modified to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}252. off B.56.BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}

8. 3.S.65 inlet valves as originally instructed for B.22. (6.B.1V.) but which were never fitted, other inlet valves standard.

ELECTRICAL.

1. Ignition coil for improved performance with leaky sparking plugs consisting of secondary winding with 15,000 turns of 42.SWG. wire. Otherwise to Drg. D.75260. or Delco Remy.

2. Phantom III. type ballast resistance.

3. Delco-Remy distributor with improved governor.

4. Lucas W.T.22. type horns.

5. Champion sparking plugs.

6. Motor with Acme thread on drive to EL.291.

7. Battery Exide 6.M.X.I.9.

8. Double contact type cut-out RR.Sch.845.

9. Foot switch with modified contacts and 1/4 lb. spring. RR.Sch.998. LOP. 75772.
