that brought about by purely increasing the "I" dimension,
but the markings on the piston, after a good run, ought
to confirm this. At any rate, for further supplies,
we will reduce the taper from .001" to .0005" as suggested.

Your news with regard to castings is very
interesting, and we are anxiously awaiting sight of these
as produced from your equipment. Would it be possible
for the writer to see this on some occasion in the future?

Our present price for supplying small experi-
mental quantities of these pistons, complete with rings
and pins, is 16/6d. each in RR.53, and our price for the
same work, but the castings to be supplied by you, would
be 13/9d. each. We take it that these pistons would be
treated by the same treatment as that which you give to
your own.
