| - 2 - that brought about by purely increasing the "I" dimension, but the markings on the piston, after a good run, ought to confirm this. At any rate, for further supplies, we will reduce the taper from .001" to .0005" as suggested. Your news with regard to castings is very interesting, and we are anxiously awaiting sight of these as produced from your equipment. Would it be possible for the writer to see this on some occasion in the future? Our present price for supplying small experi- mental quantities of these pistons, complete with rings and pins, is 16/6d. each in RR.53, and our price for the same work, but the castings to be supplied by you, would be 13/9d. each. We take it that these pistons would be treated by the same treatment as that which you give to your own. Yours faithfully, pp THE LIGHT PRODUCTION CO. LTD. M.P. Booker GENERAL MANAGER. | ||
