S.U. Fuel Pumps (Bentley).

Below we give modifications to the above, called for on 'G' series.

New Type (To commence on 'G' series).
Present standard.

Non-inductively wound coils.
German Material Diaphragms.
Bakelite Valves.
Deletion of Valve springs.

Inductively wound Coils.
Gut Diaphragms.
Brass Valves.
Valve Springs.

As Mr. Kent of the S.U. Co. pointed out yesterday they are unable to supply non-inductively wound coils on the first 50, this batch will be stamped "G.M.1" on the front of the casting.

Once the non-inductively wound coils are introduced, the mark will be "G.M.".

I have already advised the S.U. Co. that we shall require this modification on all pumps (i.e., large and small capacity) as soon as they are in a position to supply.
