To HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} X8130 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}3/M11.5.25. 'DUCO' FINISHED BODY. X.8830 X.8380 I find I was correct in saying that the above has been temporarily cancelled. This was because the subframe experiment has been so far delayed that difficulty had arisen with the bodies at the coachbuilders, which were spoiling through the delay in puttin on some covering. There was also the question of the whole of the subframe experiment being delayed while the 'Duco' finishing was being done. In view of your remarks we propose to take the first available subframe body for finishing by this process: in fact there is an enclosed limousine at Hoopers which could be sent now if we could have a chassis.
