RE DIPPING LAMPS.

We duly received your Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Evl/M7.11.28. We note your remarks on bifocal dipping, but at the moment we only have 36 watt (each filament) double filament lamp bulbs, of which I spoke, and there seems little prospect of getting any others unless we have them made to our specification.

You may probably be mentioning this matter to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} during his visit to London again, but I do not know whether it is worth while to make the experiment on the 36 watt bulbs, because it means alteration to the wiring and lamp holders (to double contact).

We have noted what you have instructed for the various new chassis and confirm your impression that our reference to 12-G4 was an error for 10-G3.
