On the 21st February last, in ROY {Sir Henry Royce} 3/MG21.2.23, you mentioned that some gaiters had been forwarded to you for testing, with a view to our making them standard. Please let me have a precis showing what has been done since then in regard to testing gaiters and with what results. Also state what is the position to-day in regard to : (a) Their adoption.
