In connection with an enquiry we have had from Ariel who are having big end troubles on their four-square engine, that is an engine arranged with four cylinders in the formation of a square, they have sent us a blue print showing a proposal for using white metal bearings steel backed, and would like to know whether we should supply bearings in RR.AC.6. which would be interchangeable. This we are rather afraid would make the bearing very thin, actually .052", and we would like your opinion on this matter before replying to Ariel Motors, as to whether we can manufacture.
