For the attention of T.C. Skinner Esq.

Dear Sir,

We are now about ready with our pipe for the two 40/50 HP. carburetters, and we shall therefore be glad if you could let us have the pair for test as soon as convenient. We are also, as you know, ready for the smaller downdraught type at any time.

It occurred to me that we might usefully test one of your petrol pumps, of Morris size, on our 25 HP. car, provided it would deliver at the rate of 50 - 60 pts/hr. I forgot that we had a carburetter on the small car which requires one of these petrol pumps, otherwise I would have suggested that you did not take away the pump you originally loaned us. We shall, of course, be glad to test out the larger pump on the 40/50 HP. car, but presume this will necessitate you making some special pieces.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
