Y 6142. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. K/KC/DPB/19.8.35. We are returning to you under cover of our advice note No.4217, Dynamo No.0.S.BM, drawn from stock. It was intended to fit this to chassis No.B.178.CR{Mr Cra???ster / Mr Chichester}, but on the armature being rotated, a distinct knock could be felt. As some months ago we returned a dynamo to you for a similar fault and it was thought that the knock was due to the misplacement of the armature shaft in transit, we took the liberty of tapping this armature, as requested, and cured the knock, but on being fitted to the chassis, the knock returned. This machine is for examination and correction. K/KC. | ||
