RE. BODIES. X.8830 X.5830

I am sometimes misunderstood on the question of bodies. I cannot say that I am a good critic of what ought to be made, but I do think we should use every endeavour to avoid very heavy, and especially top heavy bodies.

I do not like cramped bodies for our 40/50, or even for our 20 HP., especially in the matter of width at the front seat, and I do dislike the practice of waste of space and weight, as I have seen many times even lately.

I am not blaming RR. for these shortcomings, but I think we ought to use our influence to keep them as near right as possible.

Windovers have fitted to the India a simple scheme of running-board tool box, light, inexpensive, and efficient, and vastly different to some I complained of some months ago which were heavy, and putrid with fungus.
