To improve silence. Experimental Test Report. We are having consistent success with the Ground Gears in 20 and 40/50 HP. Gearboxes. With the helical side shaft gears, these are run in with a cutting powder - with the ground side shaft gears we can avoid entirely the use of cutting powder on the gearbox. Road Test Report.
