Stronger Throttle Spring - Phantom III.

We send you herewith LeC.5335 of a stronger throttle spring for the above chassis.

We had complaints of the existing spring being inadequate to close the throttle, and it was agreed that it should be stretched out by ¼"to increase its loading. Under these conditions the spring is rather overstressed and we have had complaints of a number of springs taking a permanent set and breaking at the hooked ends.

This stronger spring gives the same loads as the pulled out spring with considerably lower stresses.

Will you please detail and instruct this stronger spring for experimental purposes so that it can be tested and be available should we get into serious difficulty with the pulled out spring.
