-2- 4th. July 1938. This table indicates that while the best core on heat per unit of frontal area basis is the Serck, per unit of weight it is slightly inferior to the Marston and Harrison cores. Considered on a basis of heat per unit of volume the Serck is intermediate between the Marston and Harrison cores. Since the latest Marston core (which is our standard production matrix) has improved and is now about on a par with the Harrison one, our conclusion is that there is little to choose between the Serck and the Marston core, the latter being, if anything, slightly better.
