We have received the following wire from Waller dated 8/8/39:-

"ROBOTHAM CORNISH BADLY SMASHED THIS MORNING
"PLEASE PHONE 21 AFTER SEVEN THIRTY TONIGHT.
"WALLER."

We understand the driver was not badly hurt.
He has communicated with all the necessary authorities in France.
