BODY FOR MR. ROYCE'S CHASSIS.

With reference to your memo asking whether 6.EX chassis would be delivered in London on Wednesday 21st.inst.
We find that this is not possible as there are several modifications we should like to make to this chassis before it goes to the Coachbuilders.
We should like to know whether you have informed Mr. Royce of the particulars of the type of body which is to be fixed to this chassis - if you have not done so we suggest that you obtain a blue-print from the Coachbuilders and send it on to him so that they may have his criticisms before the body is completed. We think it would be a good idea if you got somebody at Conduit Street to deal with Mr. Royce direct with reference to this new body.
We assume that the body can be made suitable for the 1" higher dashboard and radiator.
We anticipate it will be seven to eight days before we can let you have the chassis.
You might also let Mr. Royce know how long it is likely to be from the time the Coachbuilders get the chassis to the time it is completed. We should also like to know this information.
