BRAKE LEVERAGES.

You will remember that after the first 200 P.II's were produced there was an outcry because the pedal travel increased to rapidly. To overcome this trouble the cams were altered from 45º to 35º and should now be G.77583. on all R.H. cars. At the same time the brake countershaft was altered to 1.725" free length and should be G.77414. The L.H. cars do not conform with the schedule because they have no brake countershaft but, as you are not doing brake tests on these, it will not upset your results. It is as sufficient to say the L.H. cars have 45º cams.
