Gentlemen:-

Referring to your favor of November 13th, we are inclosing several samples of Tungsten contact points for your test purposes on low tension contact breakers. We felt it would be advisable to send you these points rather than a piece of Tungsten.

If you will kindly send us a sketch showing what you require in the way of steel backing and the diameter of the Tungsten, weshall be glad to make up a few more samples for you. Contacts similar to those we are sending may possibly have been used by you in England, as we have supplied considerable quantities to the L.P.S. Electrical Company, 14 Howick Place, Westminster, London, England with the past few years. We shall be very glad to quote you our price on these points when you have determined just what type you can use and the quantity.

We are, in addition to these points, sending you a sample length of wire 3/32" diameter for your spark plug experiments.

We welcome this opportunity to get in touch with you in regard to Tungsten products. It may be possible for us, due to our very extensive experience in working and handling this metal, to be of some assistance to you in the development of it for your purposes. You may feel free at any time to write us in case you require some specific information. We shall be glad to do all in our power to assist you wherever possible.

Awaiting your further pleasure, we are

Yours very truly,

INDEPENDENT LAMP & WIRE COMPANY.
