We have been over the article in its final form written by Mr. Tombs of "The Autocar", together with the sketches supplied by Mr. Crosby. Mr. Tombs feels that they will be able to spread the article over three issues, in which case we think it is about the right length. The sketches have about the desirable amount of artistic licence, whilst retaining sufficient technical accuracy. The first article is due to appear in the issue W/E Saturday, February 4th. We note that in the photograph of the cars in the Erecting Bay we gave to Sg. {Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} that all the R.R. chassis appear to be fitted with IndiaProduction 20 HP. with 4-speed box and Front Wheel Brakes tyres. Actually, of course, these are wheels that are being used temporarily to push the chassis about, but the treads might with advantage, be made unrecognisable if the photograph is to be reproduced in the Press.
