As regards the Oil Pump, this makes no difference at all, and in this respect, you can revert to the letter from Geo. Lefèvre, translation of which I sent you, in which it is pointed out that a car belonging to a private individual has nothing to do with us; provided that the car conforms with the description given in the catalogue you can do as you like.

With respect to the attitude of W.O.B., this has been earmarked by all and sundry. By this, I mean the different "Commissaires", and you can rest assured that the Lagonda will be scrupulously verified.
