Dear Sirs,

We regret it should be necessary to complain of the quality of the High Tension Cable recently delivered - sample of which we hand you herewith.

You will observe on examination that the outer rubber covering is faulty in places, badly marred, and spongy.

The breakdown test we have carried out with such a cable in our Experimental Department shows :-
