Y7520. To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner}6/HP.14.9.33. c.c. Nor. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Phantom 2 Hand Controllable Shock Absorbers. We send you herewith: LeC.3634 shewing the markings on the steering wheel for the above controls. The old mixture lever which now becomes the damper control lever is formed at the end with a small ball to make the handling easier. The dial plate is marked 'RIDING CONTROL' 'MAX' and 'MIN'. In regard to the starting carburetter control on the instrument board, which is also combined with the extra oil and the mixture we have made a slight alteration here so that it is more understandable by making the lettering of the midway position into 'EXTRA OIL AND RICH'.
