Dear Sirs,

In reply to your letter of the 28th November, we have not quite completed our investigations of a modified valve arrangement for your covering discs, but we can say that the matter is progressing.

The sample disc has been treated with a rubber application at the periphery and it will be slotted to take a temporary valve arrangement which we are intending to demonstrate as the principle of what might be done on production.

It is hoped that the complete assembly may be finished by the end of the week, and it will then be sent through for your examination.

Yours faithfully,
For DUNLOP RUBBER CO., LTD.

Manager,
Car Manfrs. Division.
