DERBY.

Handwritten: Durometer 50-55.

Dear Sir,

With further reference to your visit to our works yesterday in connection with the Top Buffer Rubbers G.83858 and Bottom Buffers G.83856, when we noted that the durometer reading is rather higher than required by you, we have prepared further samples of a softer nature. We are enclosing one of each herewith, and trust that this will enable you to put these to further test, when we shall be most pleased to learn if this is more in accordance with your wishes.

We find that in making the samples one of the plates was damaged in each of the other two rubbers, so we cannot include these with the above. If you could, therefore, kindly arrange for a further supply of plates to be sent to us we could then have further rubbers prepared.

In the meantime, we are sending the mould for the Bottom Buffer G.83856 away to the makers to have the overall width corrected, in accordance with instructions received from the Buying Department. We hope to receive this back in the course of the next day or so.

Assuring you of our most prompt attention at all times, we beg to remain,

Yours faithfully,
For THE HARBORO' RUBBER CO., LTD.

Director.
