Dear Sirs,

We acknowledge your letter of the 14th.instant, reference RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}10/JH, concerning the LR.{Mr Ellor}7 Regulator unit; we must say we are surprised to have your report in connection with this unit, and its failure to function correctly.

At the time of writing this letter we have not received this unit back from you, though you stated that you did send it off to us under separate cover.

Will you please advise us how and when it was despatched.
