W/K.{Mr Kilner} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} 360a Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}4/R.26.2.37. Confirming my telephone conversation with you, all the necessary parts for 35-EX have been despatched to Paris for your attention. In addition to the shackle pins you asked for, we have sent standard type damper and roll rod connecting links. This necessitates a new plate under the spring which we have also sent. As this means dismantling the springs we have also sent a pair of lighter rear springs which we think might be fitted at the same time. With regard to the gearbox selector springs, we have very recently put up the strength of these springs, as we discovered one or two which no longer jumped out of third gear when they were fitted. We hope your people are running the K.L.G. E.27 plugs in 6.B.IV., as we are anxious to standardise them as soon as possible. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
