Re 23-EX. We again had trouble during yesterday morning's run with loss of water, 1 1/2 gallon was lost during the last 70 miles run, the water then continuing to boil until the car reached the Garage. We dismantled the radiator and flushed it out as much as possible, but could not find any obstruction. We cannot see the tubes of the matrix owing to the plate being left in that was part of the filter design. We also flushed the cylinders out, and again tried the car this morning with the same result. We lost 2 1/2 gallons during the morning's run. I tried the car in the garage racing the engine up to approx. its maximum. There was a constant overflow of water. We have given it another flushing out and are running our mileage to see if any improvement or otherwise has taken place. This has delayed our mileage slightly, but we shall be finished by morning.

We have not received any instructions so far re Mr. Northey, but expect to do so in the next day or so.
