1209. To EJJ. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}14/JH.6.10.38. Road Spring Endurance Test Machine. We would like to make a machine for testing springs similar to the one shown on the drawing herewith, which it is stated cost £50 to make, apart from the motor. This machine is used in America and elsewhere. We might be able to reduce the cost by utilizing the electric bump rig, as this already provides an electric motor, layshaft and flywheel. Will you please say if it is possible to build a crank similar to that on the drawing on the end of the bump drum shaft, at a reasonable figure. Will you please return the drawing as it is not our property. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} | ||
