AGENDA FOR CHASSIS CONFERENCE TO BE HELD 21.2.38.

WRAITH.

PHANTOM III.
(1) BEARINGS.
The first of the 12 sets of Hall's metal big ends will be in cars by 19.2.38. If no trouble is experienced these big ends will be on production from 2 in D onwards.

(2) FUEL CONSUMPTION AND IDLING.
5 London cars have now been fitted with the forward tilted carburettor and set to idle at 350 r.p.m. If Sales agree to this modification it also means reverting to the original large jets instead of the smaller ones just standardised.

(3) BATTERY CHARGING.
C.15/C.14...38 asks for a larger battery. An altered regulator and a new regulator to give a higher charging current are being tried at Derby.

WRAITH.
(1) MATERIAL ORDERS.
RDC. has some figures for the cost reduction when ordering material in batches of 500.

(2) IGNITION SYSTEM.
Failure of Delco distributors in France is receiving investigation.
