x1918b Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}1/KT. June 7th 1933. K.L.G. Sparking Plugs Ltd, Robinhood Engineering Works, Putney Vale, London. S.W.15. For the attention of Major Carrington. Dear Sirs, Further to our letter of May 31st., there is one difficulty in connection with these long reach plugs, that is, a portion of the thread projects into the cylinder bore. When the thread becomes carboned up it is difficult to extract the plug. On the two dozen plugs we have ordered, will you please therefore relieve the thread for a distance of .125". Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
