Origin: To improve design.
Experimental Test Report: The rear end of the frame is extended to take the luggage grid. The grid forms a protection for the petrol tank.
Road Test Report: Fitted to 7-EX - run 7000 miles. Fitted to 11-EX - run 18,000 miles. Fitted to 8-EX - run 10,000 miles. Modifications have been made which have overcome the first failures.
