For your information we give below copy of a report from our Mr. Bassano, regarding the battery on the above chassis :- "During an engine gear test run this afternoon, the battery on the above chassis caused an explosion in the Battery Box. Little damage has resulted to the battery which is a Peto & Radford, but the battery box is cracked. I thought I would report this to you, as should such a thing happen on a finished car the owner would no doubt be very upset." Handwritten notes: [Left side] This is queried again in Instin Bk.{A.
