No 245 DERBY, 23rd Septr 1940. Dear "Sr", I have received many enquiries as to when you are coming to Derby from "Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}", "Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}", etc. "Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}" is always at the Works, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I suggest, therefore, that, if it can be arranged, you should come up on Saturday evening, spend the week-end with us, be at Derby Monday morning put forward any matters for discussion, and then you can go as soon as you like.
