E.F.L. X7535P. JD{J. Draper - Frames} 33. Re P&R RRNII Batteries I have been over the P&R RRNII batteries which we have & find (C.E. in the sales Dept-) they are minus the ebonite collars over the terminal posts. These are fitted on most of the batteries on the four main terminals, but are not filled with petroleum jelly as they should be. This omission is helping to cause some corrosion on the terminals of the new batteries which we have on cars. Will you please order 48 ebonite collars from Messrs P&R & also ask them how they are fitted. I believe they are hotted up in some way & forced over the post then being allowed to cool & shrink which makes them a good fit. It should be pointed out to Messrs P&R that great care must be taken (contd.) | ||
