Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 1st. inst. We note your remarks with regard to the dia. of the discs. Our mistake was due to confusing it with the Auto-Clean filter which we are also testing. As you probably know, our jets are of the annular type and in consequence, between the cone and its seating, is .002". We therefore prefer the .05 mm. gap, but we do feel that we should get a better filter if the dia. of the discs was increased somewhat. We find you filter weighs 1 1/4 lbs. complete. This is rather heavy for such a unit and we should like to know whether you think you could manage to effect any weight reduction by the use of lighter alloy. Yours faithfully, | ||
