To BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from E/JNH. c For. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} [Handwritten]: RV 195- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} E/JNK.6/Hr.4.7.33. re Bentley Camouflage Features. We send you herewith a drawing LeC.3557 showing the petrol and the oil filler cap marked with the letter "B", as agreed at the Brooklands Conference, in accordance with memo C.15/C.15.6.33. We have purposely avoided altering the filler cap itself because it is interchangeable with the 20-HP and the Phantom, and what we have done is to take the medallion as used on the Bentley wheel nuts and sweated it to the dome surface of the cap.
