Specification of Petrol System for 21-G-IV. ------------------------------------ Below is given specification for the above car ready for 15,000 miles. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} was instructed on the 9th inst. and Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. has ordered the necessary tank unit incorporating the warning device. Fuel tank as at present fitted to car. Fuel pump and filter to EX.16341. Rubber mounting for pump to EX.18062 (Durometer hardness 60). Anti-surge baffle for tank unit float to LeC.4463. Tank unit incorporating warning device (No. not yet issued). Single suction pipe and union from rear tank (No. not yet issued). Single 5/16" piping to be used throughout with flexible pipes from filter to pump and pump to carb. The above system has been kept as similar to the system on 5-B-IV as possible.
