400b To Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/AES. From Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NAG. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NAG.1/T.6.12.40. Replying to your memo of the 5th December 1940, reference Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/AES.9/AH, which mentions 2 sets of Windscreen Wipers. This, we take it was intended to read "Windscreen Rubbers" for 1-R-1 Ripple and 8-B-V Bentley, ordered from Messrs. Park Ward & Co. We are attaching a copy of our letter of 20th Sept. to Mr. Ward, in which we ask for Windscreen Rubbers for the two cars in question. We have received the sealing rubber for 1-R-1 Ripple and also a length of glazing strip which was not required, but as this was only a small item, we have not returned it but have handed it to our Stores as useful stock. We have not received any sealing rubber for 8-B-V Bentley, which is the tubular section mentioned in our letter of 20th Sept. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/NAG. | ||
