[Handwritten initials] On Saturday last, we sent away by passenger train to Firth-Derihon Stpgs. Ltd, in accordance with BY10/G of the 7th inst, 2 of the Gear Rings for treatment. Messrs. Firth-Derihon have been on the phone this morning, and state that the furnace which they have in operation is too small to take these Rings, and that the furnace in which they will have to be treated is not yet ready. We gather that they wish to speak to you on several points, and we have suggested to them that they ring you up on Monday morning next. We give you this information, so that the present position of the Rings will be understood. ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} [Signature] | ||
