- 9 - This is a later type of fitting using banjo connections. These however, we have found to cause a slight restriction in the gasolene line. The different shaped heads on the plugs were made so as to easily distinguish between the different plugs. Flat - - - - - M.S. Plug - not used on gasolene line. Rounded - - - - - Stainless Plug. Flat with pimple-Special stainless restriction plug. Phosphor bronze banjos were used owing to the difficulty of brazing stainless. Cuno type Suction Gasolene Filter. Type A L-376 Assembly on dash A-14947 Compression Sleeve. A-14948 Compression Nut. A-14949 Compression Elbow. This filter is for attachment to the dash and to fit it involves cutting the gasolene feed pipe just below the tank. Type B - Cuno Filter. This filter is made for attachment direct on the top of the vacuum tank. We have not succeeded in arranging a good mounting for this, either it has the glass bowl right over the exhaust pipe, which we would like to avoid - or it interferes with the bonnet. Sparton S.O.S. De Luxe Horn. A-12772 Horn mounting Assy. A-12435 Horn. A-12528 Cylinder Head showing location. A-12723 Horn Bracket Assy. A-12781 Horn Bracket. This horn is found much more suitable mounted on the engine on account of the vibration otherwise carried to the dash. All parts of the bracket A-12723 with the exception of the angle plate A-12781 are supplied with the horn. - continued - | ||
