X766 Expl: Dept: Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Derby, England. 25th. Aug. 1924. Hotel des Voyageurs, Geneva, Switzerland. To Mr. Hancock from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} We have received your letter of the 22nd.inst. Bolton has returned from France and so have the other spare men. We do not think it is worth while sending anyone else out because they could not possibly get there in time. We assume that you are fitting to Reverdin's 20 HP. car the shutters in the bonnet. In making the comparisons, it would be helpful if you could arrange that the temperature at the start of the test is the same in all cases. You would run the car with the radiator blanked off until you reached a fairly high xxx temperature, and then start from this. It would appear that we shall not be able to get the car out to France for the radiator tests until the end of next week, therefore, it would be advisable for you not to rely on this or wait for it. Please let us know your movements. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
