Dear Sirs, Owing to Mr. Leslie's absence from these Works, the writer has been instructed to give the following information regarding the new type Bentley frames now being made by yourselves. The first and second to be delivered are to have the gusset FB.9624/5 made .104 thick, but the third frame is to have the gusset .128" thick. The first frame is wanted very urgently, because we have a body arriving for this frame at an early date, and we should be obliged if you would expedite it as much as possible. With regard to the last paragraph of your letter, we shall be in a better position to instruct you concerning lightening holes when we have built the next frame into a car. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
