I have spoken to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} on this matter, and as you know, he is very keen on the introduction of untarnishable finish. He agrees that, in view of the fact that you already have a stock of material suitable for standard finish i.e. nickel plate, with which to meet the demands of those who either insist on having it or will not pay the extra cost of untarnishable, we should not erect any more chassis with nickel finished parts and should make them all with untarnishable external parts. He therefore agrees to the first half of "S" series being 100% untarnishable instead of fifty-fifty as you suggest. The same remarks apply to the 40/50 HP. chassis in the future, and therefore the 'N.2" series which you are about to order. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} | ||
