We have got to keep the fire in the boiler house at the Clan Foundry going all night.
This means one quarter of an hour's work every two hours.
The fire will be stoked up before the day-shift leave at 7 p.m. and we shall bring a man in at 7 a.m. to raise steam for the day.
We want to use the night-watchman here for keeping the fire in during the night. The place is locked up at night and we have no night-shift, therefore he has very little to do.
