YOUR REF:- OUR REF:- G.L.Dept: TELEPHONE, AVENUE 7854 (4 LINES.) TELEGRAMS: "DICOTTO, FEN, LONDON" PERSONAL. 30th March, 1920. E.Hives, Esq., Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd. Experimental Dept: Nightingale Rd., DERBY. Dear Mr. Hives, I understand that our Mr. Rippon has many times endeavoured to see you on the question of Special R.R. Motor Oil which we sent you. I believe that you have carried out a lengthy practical trial with this particular oil, and I should esteem it a favour if you would be good enough to let me know whether you were in every way satisfied with the results. As we are now taking up the Can business, i.e. distributing by one gallon cans, and advertising in all the various Journals, Garages, &c. would it be possible, subject to your being thoroughly satisfied with the lubricant in question, to specify our Oil for the R.R. Car ? I should appreciate a line from you on this matter. How is the golf going ? Our challenge still holds good. Now that the weather is improving Mr. Charles Dick and myself will probably run down one week-end and I hope you will be able to spare the time to have a game with us. My kind regards, and trusting you are well. Sincerely yours, | ||
